We loved this place even though our campsite was right next to the playground...which made it very difficult for our kids to fall asleep before 11:30 pm! Then back up at 7 am when quiet time was over and the kids started at the park again! Quiet time should begin at 10 p.m. for public play areas! The pool was excellent for kids but the water was very cold which made it hard to stay! We will be back..this place was very welcoming and entertaining for all ages!
Already scheduled our grounds for next year and cannot wait to go back!!
I do not even know where to start. This place is great. However the family running it is absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. We planned to stay for 8 days. The first night of our very first camping trip with all 8 of our children was traumatic, the area we were camping in got hit by a terrible storm. Our tent was shredded by hail as well as high straight line winds. With all of us in it. We got the kids out safely and went to "the barn" aka storm shelter/camp store! The owner and his son helped pull us together. Find us safe shelter for the entire duration of our trip. All the while helping us go out in the Storm to retrieve our belongings from the tent. Borrowed us clean dry bedding, gave us quarters to help us dry our clothes and sleeping bags. And so much more. The entire camping trip was amazing after that. The swimming pools, water slides, kids water park, ice cream, mini golf, petting zoo, fishing pond etc was all its described as and more. We had a blast. We will be going back. We love it there so much we want to buy an RV and get a seasonal site. They're family is now an extension of our own. I honestly can not explain how amazing the family that owns Kamp Dels is or how awesome they're campgrounds is!
Very nice campground and water park. The only downside is the value. It is fairly high priced. If I pay that much I don't expect to be slide out to awning in every site.
This... is just an amazing place. Camping was great - quiet grounds during the night. The water park is amazing although the kids pool is really really cold. Waterslides are fun and the different activities for kids are almost endless. There are like 5 parks for the kids - shuffleboard, minigolf, canoeing... so many things I wouldn't be able to mention them all.
Just returned home from our first trip to Kamp Dels. My family enjoyed themselves so much we are planning on visiting next year. I was impressed how clean the bathrooms were and the staff member working the desk was welcoming and knowledgeable. We did a 3 day stay and it wasn't long enough. Crossing our fingers for better weather next year, but that didn't stop the kids from getting in the pool. Thanks from a new yearly visitor!
Staff is excellent and the place is clean. Restrooms were kept tidy at all times. Food is pretty good served at the park. Pricing is quite good foe the value you get - especially if you stay foe 5 nights whereas you get the 5th night free.
